Methodology

This tracker monitors weekly download counts for AI-related NPM packages, collected via the NPM Downloads API. Packages are selected based on relevance to AI agent development, LLM integration, and vector database tooling. Data is refreshed every Sunday and represents the preceding 7-day period. The tracker includes packages with at least 10,000 weekly downloads and excludes deprecated or unmaintained packages.
